At ECN the revamped valvebox has been hoisted on the multicolumn test rig under H2020 FLEDGED and FReSMe Projects.
The test rig will be used for testing Sorption-Enhanced DME Synthesis (SEDMES) performances. Different sorbent/catalyst mixures with commercial catalyst are subjected to cycling testing in a high throughput “Spider” rig, aiming at assessign steam capacity, steam slip level, adsorption and desorption kinetics selectivity and stability. Selected mixtures will be then tested in single- and multiple-column PSA test-rig.
