\"\"At ECN<\/a>, Raghu Sumbharaju and Jasper van Kampen are extending the sorbent testing programme to include dedicated desorption experiments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Screening tests of different commercial steam sorbents are carried out at ECN<\/a> to identifiy the most suitable sorbents for operation at SEDMES process<\/a>. Different sorbent\/catalyst mixures with commercial catalyst are subjected to cycling testing in a high throughput “Spider” rig, aiming at assessign steam capacity, steam slip level, adsorption and desorption kinetics selectivity and stability.<\/p>\n

Selected mixtures will be then tested in single- and multiple-column PSA test-rig.<\/p>\n
